Leaked 'Windows 9' screenshots show redesigned Start Menu

We've seen leaked screenshots of the redesigned Start Menu before but now we have MORE evidence that the redesign is real. '
The folks over at myce got their hands on screenshots, which show the hybrid Start Menu and windowed Modern UI APPS.

One of the biggest complaints about Windows 8 was the decision to get rid of the traditional Start Menu.
Replaced by the Modern UI INTERFACE, apps were listed in a touch-friendly grid. '
It was great for tablet users but not so much for traditional mouse-and-keyboard users.

To FIX this, Microsoft is combining the traditional Start Menu with the Modern UI interface.
A list of your most used apps and a search bar are located to the left. On the right, you can customize a few Modern UI apps.
This is handy since the Modern UI apps support Live Tiles, which updates each app "card" with new information automatically.

The following screenshot shows how Modern UI apps, or apps made for touch, will work as traditional apps in the next version of WINDOWS.
With Windows 8.1 update, touch apps behaved more like traditional apps by displaying in the taskbar.
The next version of Windows takes it further by allowing you to resize the window just like normal apps.

Both myce and The Verge have confirmed with their sources that these LEAKED SCREENSHOTS are legitimate.

While we know the next version of Windows is coming (codenamed "Threshold"), we don't know if it'll be an update to Windows 8 or if it'll be called Windows 9.

MICROSOFT is expected to ship Windows "Threshold" in early 2015.
