Former Chelsea midfielder, Frank Lampard, has said that Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero, is the best striker he has ever played with.

The 38-year-old spent 13 seasons at Stamford Bridge and played with forwards like Didier Drogba, Andrei Shevchenko, Hernan Crespo.

He also won 106 caps for England, playing alongside Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen.

However, Lampard, who played with Aguero for only the 2014/2015 season, says the Argentine is the best he has played with.

“Aguero’s right at the top for me,” Lampard told Sky Sports.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to play with great players. Didier Drogba I always rave about because he was an all-round striker who gave you everything. But in terms of an out-and-out goal scorer and finisher, Aguero is the best I’ve played with.

“Around the box he’s lethal, he’s sharp. I’m pleased to see him do well.”
