Nice Win At Guingamp To Return To Top Of Ligue 1

A mesmerizing goal and skills from Younes Belhanda lifted Nice back to the top of Ligue 1, displacing Monaco and keeping Paris Saint-Germain at arm’s length with a 1-0 victory at Guingamp.
The midfielder danced right to wrong-foot the Guingamp defence, carving himself space to send a curling shot into the left-hand top corner of the goal, beyond the outstretched dive of goalkeeper Karl-Johan Johnsson.
He celebrated the early strike, in just the fifth minute, with somersaults and there was no way back for the home side.
PSG host Angers in the day’s late game.
Lyon bounced back emphatically from defeat to PSG with a 6-0 win away at Nantes.
Good work down the right from Rafael saw Corentin Tolisso faced with an open goal to make it 1-0 from close range, before Alexandre Lacazette tucked a penalty into the bottom corner.
The visitors were 3-0 up before half-time as Remy Riou dropped a corner into the path of Maxime Gonalons, who stabbed home, before a tidy finish from Mathieu Valbuena made it four from Sergi Darder’s through ball. Mouctar Diakhaby and Nabil Fekir wrapped up the win to send Lyon fourth in the table.
Bordeaux missed the chance to climb into the top four as they were held 1-1 at lowly Bastia.
The hosts took the lead through Thievy Bifouma’s well-worked opener but Gaetan Laborde levelled with 12 minutes left. Bordeaux were unable to find a winner despite facing 10 men for the last eight minutes after Florian Marange’s dismissal.

Issiaga Sylla’s first-half goal brought an end to Toulouse’s bad run as they beat Montpellier 1-0.
Le Tefece risked slipping out of the top half of the table following three defeats from four games but winger Sylla’s 19th-minute strike delivered a first home victory since early October.
Linking up well with Martin Braithwaite throughout the match at the Stadium Municipal, Sylla collected a pass from the Denmark international before slotting past Laurent Pionnier.
St Etienne and Marseille shared a 0-0 draw at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard.
Bafetimbi Gomis should have done better for Marseille before Henri Saivet spurned a chance. Oussama Tannane stung the hands of Yohann Pele for St Etienne after the restart while William Vainqueur brought another good save from Ruffier at the other end. Rolando, Romain Alessandrini and Clinton N’Jie all threatened late on but neither side were able to hit the back of the net.
Nancy moved out of the relegation zone following their comprehensive 4-0 victory over Metz at the Stade Marcel Picot.
Benoit Pedretti gave the hosts the lead with a terrific curling free kick from 25 yards that curled around the wall and in off the post, leaving Metz goalkeeper Thomas Didillon with no chance.
The match was still in the balance before Joffrey Cuffaut fired in from a tight angle with 12 minutes remaining and Issiar Dia added a third two minutes later.
Benoit Assou-Ekotto was dismissed for a second bookable offence late in the game before Youssef Ait Bennasser sealed the win in stoppage time to extend Nancy’s unbeaten run to three matches.
