NPFL: Rangers ready to deliver again next season – Madu

Chibuzor Madu has vowed that Enugu Rangers, will be much more stronger next season.

The Flying Antelopes, who are the current Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) defending champions, are presently in Benin City for pre-season training.

“All the old players have resumed and the new ones are here also,” Madu said.

“We are really working hard and getting ready for the big task ahead of us.

“The atmosphere in camp has been wonderful. Rangers is a club with ambition and the major step is to have a perfect pre-season and be ready for what the new campaign has in stock for us.”

The former Enyimba defender, also believes that they will not crumble under the weight of expectation.

“We know that every team will want to play with all what they have got when facing us. But it’s normal and I believe we will deliver because we have what it takes when it comes to quality players and coaches.

“No doubt we will definitely deliver as we did last season. The team will be competing in the NPFL, CAF Champions League and the Federation Cup.

“Our hope is at the highest ebb for we understand the battle ahead of us.”
