RUMOURS: Arsenal & Liverpool chasing Belotti

The young hitman scored a hat-trick against Bologna at the end of August, which only served to heighten the clubs' interest

Arsenal and Liverpool are ready to do battle to sign Torino striker Andrea Belotti, according to the Sun.

The Gunners are said to have already shown interest in the young Italy international, with Arsene Wenger having made enquiries over the summer.

The Emirates side landed Lucas Perez as a back-up for Olivier Giroud, but there is growing concern over Danny Welbeck's persistent injury problems.

Liverpool are also keen, with the 22-year-old seemingly the right type of player to fit into Jurgen Klopp's fast-pressing tactical system.

Belotti could be available for as little as £12.5 million.
