Remember The Name: Will Frank Ross be Aberdeen's next midfield star?
It's the penultimate day of STV's Remember The Name feature as we highlight some of Scottish football's brightest young prospects.
Each day this week, we will be profiling a different player and letting you hear from the player, the youth coach and the manager about why their starlet is a little bit special.
After almost a decade of working his way through the Pittodrie youth set-up, Ellon-born Frank Ross is tipped to make the breakthrough in 2016.
The 17-year-old is midway through his second full-time season and has already been knocking on Derek McInnes door this year.
Aberdeen fans got their first sighting of Ross when he featured in Andrew Considine's testimonial against FC Twente in March, but as competitive debuts go, he won't forget his in a hurry.
He was an 89th minute substitute when his Aberdeen side were 1-0 down to Dundee on the penultimate weekend of the 2014/15 season, but within 60 seconds of being on the pitch Adam Rooney has sq££zed home an equaliser.
He also featured the following week for 10 minutes against St Johnstone and after featuring against Dundee earlier this month, McInnes hopes to see more of him in the current campaign.
The youngster, who has represented Scotland at Under-19 level and won the Victory Shield in 2013, largely contributed to Aberdeens Development Squad title win last season.
He can play anywhere across the midfield but also has an eye for goal, with McInnes describing him as technically sound with good variety and balance. Ross admits his preferred position is in central midfield but as he's two footed he feels comfortable in a wide position too.
The manager wants to see Ross develop physically and learn the tactical side of the game.
He also hopes to see him build his confidence and bring his own personality to the first-team in the near future.
