‘Eureka Yet.’- Patrick Obahiagbon Talks About President Buhari's Second Term

Former Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon has joined voices with those calling for President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term noting that the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration has performed well enough to deserve a second term.

The APC Chieftain said this on Friday when he appeared as a guest on Channels Television as he reacted to the critical public statement recently written by the former President Olusegun Obasanjo to President Buhari, Obahiagbon disagreed with some of the points raised by Obasanjo and scored President Buhari high.

He, however, pointed out that the APC administration has not achieved all promised, saying it is not ‘eureka yet.’

“It is certainly not Eureka yet. But, the truth of the matter is that, given where we are coming from, this government has tried. We were in the cause of economic comatose and from the quagmire of recession, the government of President Muhammadu Buhari has been able to remove the economy from the jugulars of recession and has breathed vital life into Nigeria’s economy.”

He said further that President Buhari and the APC government has discharged their constitutional mandate “in such a way and manner that they deserve a second term outing.”
