Police apprehend kidnappers of petroleum Minister Diezani’s sister

A notorious kidnapper, Benjamin Bob- manuel, who led a gang that kidnapped the Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke’s sister, Madam Osiya Agama, has been arrested.

He was arrested on Sunday at Nembe Waterfront in Port Harcourt after being trailed by police detectives for several days.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ahmad Mohammad, confirmed the arrest of the notorious kidnapper, adding that his accomplice, Whokows Ekine, was apprehended by security operatives on Monday.

He added that a locally made pistol and a Toyota Highlander jeep were recovered from the hideout of the kidnappers.

According to him, the suspects had confessed to kidnapping the minister’s sister in October.
