Usain Bolt may have already won the award for best New Year’s post, two days before the beginning of 2017.

The sprinter took to Instagram to tell his followers that he had already made it into the new year. He captioned the image: “BREAKING NEWS: I just heard @usainbolt is already in 2017…”

2016 was a record-breaking year for Bolt as he repeated his achievements at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics by winning gold in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay for Jamaica.

That “triple triple” means he is the most decorated ever Olympian on the track.
