Women Protest Náked Over Alleged Killing Of Youth In Kaduna By Soldiers

Women in their hundreds have stormed the Jema’a local government secretariat naked to disrupt an ongoing security meeting being chaired by the executive governor, mallam Nasir El-rufai.

It was gathered that the women in their different stories alleged that soldiers had followed some of the youths who were embarking on a protest, shooting sporadically, killings one and injuring many around Garaje, Kafanchan.

It would be recalled that youths in their hundreds, Monday, embarked on peaceful demonstration to register their displeasure over the incessant killings in Southern Kaduna but were allegedly attacked by security personnel who intervened to maintain law and order.

Report from Kafanchan and environs have it that for now, the situation is calm and the women are now waiting for the governor to address them.
