42-Year-Old Mother Infected Wth HIV By Boyfriend

Kara Wilkinson, a 42-year-old mother of three from Cumbria in England who was infected with the HIV virus by her boyfriend has gone public to reveal how he has ruined her life.

According to Kara, she began a relationship with undertaker Alan Mason, 45, in 2010 without realising he had been diagnosed as HIV positive two years earlier, Daily Mail reports.

18-months into their relationship, she fell ill during a two-week holiday in Benidorm, Spain and upon returning to the UK, she visited her doctor who suggested she might be HIV positive.
