Gobe! Trouble For Real Madrid As Their Biggest Player Ruled Out For 4 Months

Spanish giants Real Madrid have been hit with a blow on Thursday, November 24, 2016 as one of their star players Gareth Bale has been ruled out of action for four months after suffering an injury.

The 27-year sustained what was said to be a ‘traumatic dislocation of the peroneal tensions’ in his right ankle in Real Madrid’s 2 – 1 win at Sporting Lisbon in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, November 23, 2016.

Real Madrid confirmed on Thursday, November 24, 2016 that the left-footed player will be operated upon in London on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 and would likely miss Wales’ 2018 World Cup qualifier against Republic of Ireland which will be played in Dublin on March 24, 2017.

The former Tottenham star has been impressive since joining Real Madrid and has in October 2016 extended his contract at the Bernabeu to the year 2022.
