Hillary Clinton Supporters Weep Bitterly as Donald Trump Shocks the World to Become U.S President (Photos)

The victory of Republican Party presidential candidate, Donald Trump has brought mixed feelings to Americans with his supporters buzzing while the camp of his Democratic Party counterpart, Hillary Clinton has been filled with agony, pain and gnashing of teeth even in public places.

Women looked inconsolable, and many of her supporters appeared to be dumbfounded in shock according to The SUN.

The bad news kept coming throughout the evening as Clinton lost out to Donald Trump in key battleground states including Florida, North Carolina and Ohio – which has again predicted the winning nominee having picked every US President since 1964.

Republic nominee Trump also won in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Emotions were running high at the ‘party’ held for the Democrat nominee in Manhattan. The soiree had a sombre mood, after being billed as the “Hillary for America Election Night Event” and opened up to the public.

As states began to slip away one by one and Trump increased his lead, there was a tidal wave of desperation from those who had backed her. Senior staff were nowhere to be seen, while Clinton was hunkered down in her hotel suite watching the results.

Meanwhile, over at the New York Hilton, there were scenes of jubilation as his supporters chanted “President Trump” and “lock her up”.

However the real estate tycoon and billionaire clawed sizeable victories which tipped the election firmly in his favour. It looked like a new record had been set in the turnout with some reports suggesting 140million voters took part, far higher than the 131.4million total in 2008.
