Section of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway to be closed for repairs – FRSC

The Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps Sector in Ogun, Mr. Clement Oladele, has announced that a section of the Ibadan/Lagos corridor by Sagamu Interchange will be temporarily closed by Julius Berger Nigeria Plc for repairs.

The reason for the closure according to Julius berger is to effect repairs on that section from Nov.3 to Nov. 12.

He said: “There will be temporary closure by Julius Berger Nigeria of a section of the Ibadan/Lagos corridor by Sagamu Interchange from Thursday, Nov. 3 to Saturday Nov. 12 to effect repair,’’ he said.


“Motorists should exercise caution and adhere to traffic rules; cooperate with the FRSC and other traffic officers who will ensure minimal discomfort of motorists during the period.

“Demarcation with traffic signs have been made on appropriate routes to follow and our men will be on ground to control traffic.

“Motorists are advised to be patient and obey traffic signs and traffic controllers, ‘’

He thereby appealed to motorists, especially commercial vehicles operators, to exercise caution, cooperate with FRSC officials and adhere to traffic rules to ensure minimal discomfort on the expressway during the period.
