A notorious Cameroonian trafficker of sex workers, Eyambe Miliki Sona has been arrested by the police over plot to send four young Nigerian girsl to Russia to work as prostitutes.

The young girls between 19 to 24 years old came all the way from Nigeria after being promised travel visas to Moscow –Russia.

One of the girls identified as Ewangi Patriarch, 19, recounted that Eyambe Miliki Sona directed them to Cameroon by phone. Upon arrival they were lodged in a single room while waiting for their travel documents. The girls became impatient after waiting for two weeks and not receiving any positive signs of the alleged trip to Russia.

The Divisional Officer for Muyuka Sub Division, Tambe Thomas Tabot and his collaborators got intelligence from an informant and investigations zoomed on Eyambe Miliki Sona who was found in possession of fake documents.

After intensive interrogation, the accused was identified as a member of a criminal gang involved in trafficking sex workers to Europe.
Eyambe Miliki Sona is presently in police custody while the four girls will be handed to the Nigerian Consulate in Buea for repatriation to Nigeria.
