Two Nigerians identified as Kenneth Jideo and Obuneme victor have been arrested by the India police for drug trafficking in Bangaluru, Capital of India’s southern Karnataka state.
According to the police, the culprits who were in Bengaluru on business Visa had reportedly started drug trade since the last six months.

In a report by ‘India Mail,’ the incident took place while the police were on the raid to rid the state of illegal immigrants. They came across Kenneth whose visa had expired since March and was illegally staying in the country. They were caught by the bangaluru police while selling cocaine to college students in the region.

Cocaine worth of Rs 5.5 lakh ($9,040) was allegedly found in their residence in KR Puram in the city.

A case has been lodged against the duo under the Narcotics, Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985 after the duo reportedly confessed to the police that they got the drugs from Nigerian friends.
