See The Moment Man On Trial For Sex Assault Tries To Stab Prosecutor In Courtroom [Photos]

This is the horrifying moment a sex offender lunged at prosecutors in a courtroom in an attempt to stab them. CCTV footage shows Joshua Harding, 35, producing a 'shank' from his sleeve before running across the Veterans Memorial Courthouse in Michigan on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old, who has since been found guilty of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, then appears to try and stab Jonathan Roth, an assistant prosecutor.

The tip of the weapon misses the face of the Roth by centimetres as Harding is wrestled away by Brian Canen of the Meridian Township Police Department.

Harding, who had arrived at the court from Ingham County Jail, was then tackled to the floor and handcuffed by a group of security guards...

According to WLNS , the 35-year-old, who is set to be sentenced on September 21, may now face further changes for the attack.
