LMC grants Rivers United’s request to move NPFL clash against Ikorodu United
The League Management Company (LMC), has given their approval for Rivers United to postpone their Match Day 29 fixture against Ikorodu United.
According to a statement released by the media officer of Rivers United, Sammy Wejinya, they had made the appeal following an auto crash involving their official vehicle on July 28.
The accident left several players and officials injured.
The LMC has now granted the request based on medical advice and a new date is expected to be confirmed soon.
Rivers United are currently third on the table with 44 points from 26 games.
