IG orders audit of all Police investments, subsidiaries

The Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris, has named two firms to audit police investments and subsidiaries.
The companies mandated to carry out the work are Messers Nsebot William & Co and Gbenga Abimbola & Co.

They are expected to submit their report in six weeks.

A statement from police spokesman, DCP Don Awunah, quoted Idris as making the disclosure while addressing the board and management of police investments bodies and subsidiaries at the Police Headquarters in Abuja yesterday.

Awunah listed the bodies and subsidiaries to be audited as the NPF Pensions, NPF Mortgage Bank, NPF Cooperative Ltd, NPF HMO, NPF Insurance and NPF Property Dev. Company.
