Police management team: 6 CPs get double promotion to DIG rank [FULL LIST]

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the appointment of one AIG and six CPS to the rank of Deputy Inspectors-General of Police to oversee the management of the Nigeria Police Force.
The approval is contained in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja by Mr Ikechukwu Ani, Head of Press and Public Relations of the commission.

The officers are: AIG Shuaibu Gambo, DIG Department of Finance and Administration, CP Joshak Habila now DIG Department of Operation and CP Maigari Dikko now DIG, Department of Logistics and Supply.


Others are: CP H. M. Dagala now DIG, Department of FCIID; CP Emmanuel T. Inyang now DIG, Department of Training and Development; CP Ntom Chukwu now DIG, Department of Research and Planning and CP Folusho Adebanjo now DIG Department of ICT.

CP Abdul Bube is now AIG Force Secretary.

The statement noted that the commission has conveyed the approval to the Inspector-General of Police for implementation.

It quoted PSC Chairman, Mr Mike Okiro, as saying promotion letters of the officers would be issued in due course.
