Abia Warriors reject Chikatara’s purported move to Wydad Casablanca

Abia Warriors chairman, Emeka Inyama, has denied claims by Wydad Casablanca, that they have signed Chisom Chikatara.
On Friday, the Moroccan club announced on their official website, that they have completed the transfer of the Nigerian striker.

They claimed they have paid the agreed fees for the player and have received his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) to seal his transfer. But Inyama insists that “we have no business with Wydad”

“We have no business with Wydad and no ITC concerning the player has been issued to them,” Inyama informed AfricanFootball.com

“You could double check this with the Nigeria Football Federation.

“Chikatara will play our home game against Plateau United on Sunday and on Monday night he will fly out to join his new club and it is certainly not Wydad Casablanca.”
