Unbelievable! How a 31-Year-Old Father Seized and Raped His 2-Year-Old Daughter in Kaduna

In what will come across as a most shocking case of sexual molestation in recent times, a man has raped his own baby daughter.

The 31-year-old man, Daniel Joseph, has been handed over to the Kaduna Police Command for allegedly raping his 2-year old daughter (name withheld).

The incidence, which was said to have occurred in Gonin-Gora, Chikun local government area of the state, resulted to the little girl discharging from her private part.

Joseph, a carpenter, was said to have been exposed by his neighbours who reported the case at the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development. He was subsequently picked up and handed over to the police command, CID.

It was also gathered that mother of the girl is late and that he has been caring for the baby alone, a situation that he allegedly took advantage of to have carnal knowledge of his biological daughter.

A doctor, who examined the little girl, confirmed penetration and serious infection in the private of the little baby.

Although he was said to have denied the allegation when he was interrogated by the police, but neighbours testified against him accusing him of being fond of ungodly acts.

Efforts to reach the Kaduna Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Zubairu Abubakar, for confirmation of the development proved abortive as he was not responding to calls on his handset.

Earlier, the Commissioner of Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajia Rabi Abdulsalam, expressed shock and condemned the act in totality and directed that the little girl be given proper medical treatment.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Association of Women Journalist, NAWOJ, through its state chairperson, Juliet Nwogu Oyoyo, also condemned the act and disclosed its plan to organise a rally to kick against rape and molestation of the women folks.
